Q. What is 60 Seconds of Safety™?
A. An ever-growing library of more than 45 hand drawn safety videos that brings safety to the forefront of the viewer's mind. Each video, between 40 and 90 seconds in length, provides a succinct, yet focused snippet of safety, in a dynamic and brain stimulating fashion.
Q. What makes 60 Seconds of Safety™ videos different from other safety material?
A. The combination of visual and audio communication reinforces the safety message, ensuring a lasting impact on the viewer. Dr Richard Mayer, a US-based Clinical Psychologist, author of Multi-media Learning, tells us people who see and hear a message engage and remember much more than people who just listen to someone speaking or who look at a poster.
Q. Have there been any studies conducted?
A. Yes. Dr Richard Wisemen, Psychologist, conducted an online randomized test with 2000 participants and found the retention of information increased to as much as 92% when the viewer watched a hand drawn video. Watch the Dr Wiseman video.
Q. What would I use a 60 Seconds of Safety™ video for?
A. The videos are short and to the point. They are ideal as conversation starters for tailgate talks, in-house safety training, one-on-one talks on the shop floor, starting a safety meeting, playing in a Digital Signage System as safety reinforcement, in fact any situation where you want to discuss or promote safety.

A. Hand Drawn Videos, Inc., a company located in Newark, DE. The team at Hand Drawn Videos Inc. have created hand drawn videos for more than half a decade. The company president is a qualified safety practitioner, previously working as a safety investigator and trainer.

A. Any internet-connected device, e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop, computer.
Q. How do you access the videos?
A. You go to https://www.60secondsofsafety.org/login and log in using the username and password you received in an email immediately after joining.
Q. Are there any restrictions?
A. Yes. The videos cannot be downloaded.
Q. How many times can you watch a video?
A. You can watch all 8 videos, as many times as you want, wherever and whenever you want to.
Q. Can you share your logon details with anyone else?
A. This package is free, you should encourage other people to also join however you can show the videos to other people. For example, a manger joins and then using his/her login, they show other workers the videos during tailgate talks, safety meetings, training, or whenever required.

A. Yes.

WEEKLY SAFETY EMAIL
Q. When will I receive the safety email?
A. Every Monday morning at 9.00am CST, except when Monday is a public holiday, then the safety email will be received on the next business day. The service is suspended for 2 weeks during the Christmas holidays.
Q. Are there any restrictions?
A. Yes. You cannot download the video.
Q. Who can I send the video out to?
A. Whoever you want but remember, the video URL link is only valid for one week.
